Why do I get new events displayed although I have already read the corresponding posts?

To ensure that employees do not miss any new events, they are marked with an indication symbol, as in common social media:

1. Mark events individually as read:


In this example, there is a new comment at a news post. If you want to mark it as read, click on Events to get to the event list.


Now click in the line of the new event to have it marked as seen, thus the notification / icon regarding the new event disappears.

2. Mark all events as read:


Alternatively, you can click on the checkmark to mark all new events as read.
